OPS Inc. will come to your home or business and conduct a thorough solar feasibility analysis. Our team will meet with the customer to discuss current electricity usage as well as how much of their bill they want to offset with solar or wind or a solar hot water heating system.
Solar Pathfinder will be used for a year-round shading of your property (pole mounts, roof mounts, ground mount) along with tracking systems.

Design and cost estimate

Once the site survey is complete, our team of experienced designers will start on the system design. This will include calculating the appropriate racking, solar modules, wiring, disconnects, meters, and permits. Grant writing assistance is available upon request. The type of system makes a difference in the cost. The design stage takes about one to two weeks depending on the type and size.

Installation

After the customer approves the design, the installation date will be set based on the delivery of the solar modules and other equipment. The One Planet Solar, Inc., crew will install a system in 3-4 days, depending on the size and type. Our master electrician will complete the final hookup to the grid.

PARIS, Ill. (WTHI) - The largest residential solar array for Indiana and Illinois has been installed. An array of solar panels in Paris, Illinois is using energy from the sun and converting it into electricity. The array is powering a home, barn and farm. The array has enough solar panels to take extra energy generated during the day, to power the owner’s house at night.

One Valley family has made the switch to solar energy. Members say they're already reaping some of the benefits from investing in renewable energy. "We don't have an electric bill pretty much anymore,” homeowner Kimberly Traucins said. Kimberly Traucins says she saw the opportunity to install a solar energy system as an investment for her family and the future.

"There are a lot of investments out there that you don't see the return on. We started seeing the return immediately the day he hooked it up it was spinning faster backwards then it ever spun forwards."
